PATH’s Mount Airy chapter held its first meeting in July 2004. With an enthusiastic reception from the community and a robust growth in membership, our chapter has been a gratifying success. We are proud to currently have over 100 families as active members.
Our monthly calendars are tailored to the season and requests and suggestions from our membership. We plan field trips to zoos, aquariums, science centers, museums, and local farms. Families are invited to outings in local parks, craft parties, swimming, lunches at kid-friendly restaurants, holiday parties, and our monthly socials. We also organize children’s playgroups and sponsor a monthly science club. Our chapter publishes a bi-monthly newsletter to keep our membership up to date.
Families and caregivers can participate in our walking club, scrapbooking, Breakaway Nights, Guys’ Night Out (for dads), and Bunco nights. We also give extra support to PATH’s new mothers.
Our quarterly evening business meetings bring the membership together for interesting speakers and updates on club news.
